Robert Stoller
Rob Stoller has been working in film and video since he received his degree in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University, subsequently adding an MBA in Management from Long Island University. He has taught, lectured and mentored at the university level for over twenty years in the Telecommunications realm, as well as having Head Coached High School Varsity Boys baseball and tennis teams.
Rob founded a production company, ART IN MOTION (www.artinmotion.tv) in 1988 to promote individuals and organizations (predominantly non-profits) providing unique contributions toward health, education and the arts. After having produced a video series entitled “Overcoming Obstacles”, which featured people living with physical disabilities (resulting from Cerebral Palsy, amputation, spinal chord injuries, genetic neurologic disorders and vision impairment), Rob became involved in working with mental disorders including Autism, Asperger’s syndrome and memory loss. He recognized and remains fascinated by the correlation between his archival films - many of which feature iconic images and timeless music - and a cognitive “connection” for many of those suffering Dementia. That visual phenomenon of memory, as well as the opportunity to coach family member caregivers toward a positive sharing mindset (particularly having observed his brother as a proactive Dementia caregiver) are what motivated Rob to join David in forming Sharegiver Solutions.
